Nerul Sri Ayyappa Sev Samiti conducts Srimad Bhagavata Sapthaha Mahayagnam every year. A large number of devotees from various parts of Navi Mumbai and Mumbai attend the Mahayagnam.

In 2009, it was conducted from 28th June to 5th July. This is the fifth time the Samiti is conducting Srimad Bhagavata Sapthaha Mahayagnam at the temple complex. Inagurated by Temple Tantri Tantraratnam Brahmashri Azhakathu Sashtrusarman Namboodiripad, the Saptaha Mahayagnam was led by HH Swami Asheshananda (Acharya, Chinmaya Mission. Palakkad). He was accompanied by Shri Perumbally Ganeshan Namboodiri and Shri Prasant Namboodiri.
